On Saturday 23 September, we were delighted to welcome over 100 former students and staff to Padworth to celebrate the College’s 60th anniversary.
Padworth was established in 1963 by Oxford Professor, Peter Fison, who wanted to bring the Univeristy of Oxford’s tutorial style of teaching to sixth form education. Initially an international girls’ school, Padworth went co-ed in the 1990s and is today one of the oldest international schools in the UK, attracting students from more than 20 countries around the world to study I/GCSEs, A Levels and foundation programmes.
It was fabulous to welcome so many alumni and former staff, many of whom had travelled long distances to join the celebrations. Many thanks to all those who attended and especially those who shared their special memories from their time at Padworth.
