Padworth College is celebrating this year’s Year 11 students, who yesterday saw the culmination of their hard work over the past 1-2 years, achieving an impressive set of I/GCSE results.

Overall, 43% of grades awarded were Grades 9-6 (the equivalent of A*-B), while 79% of all grades achieved were Grades 9-4 (A*-C).

Commenting on the results, Lorraine Atkins, Principal remarked: “We are delighted with this year’s GCSE results and would like to congratulate our students, who despite having had the challenges of online learning for a significant part of their studies, achieved tremendous results.  None of this could have been achieved without the support of all of the teaching, boarding and support staff at the College during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The students have worked extremely hard and remained focus throughout their studies.”
